Heroic Garrosh Exploit

During garrosh, you get sucked into the corrupted heart, where you then have to clear a bunch of adds and then dps garrosh before he goes over 25/50 energy. On heroic, the intermissions are always the same, jade serpent first and then terrace second. When you go into the first intermission, if you turn around from where you port in, druids and mages can blink through the door, and it pops you out in the terrace intermission room, where you can then start killing adds. If you have the right comp of druids/mages to have a tank/healer and some dps, you can potentially send a group in to clear the second intermission while still clearing the first intermission.


High potential to make this part of the fight really easy. I havnt been able to test what exactly happens when you kill the adds, but you can assume that when you head back in for the second intermission, they will be dead still and you will skip an intermission phase.

Not useful at all, it's completly useless to stay below 50 energy after the second intermission, empowered mind controls or not, they aren't the difficulty at this point of the fight and you are not gaining the 50% damage reduction buffs which spawn when you kill the adds in intermission two, it also makes intermission one more difficult because you wont have the dps to clear the first intermission below 25 energy, empowered whirling corruption is pain in the ass.

It's an exploit of course and a nice find, but you won't have any advantage in the later bossfight, sorry. (my opinion and i've killed the boss 7 ids ago)

You dont need the 50% damage reduction, that is easily made up with various other raid cooldowns.

Its correct you probably wont beat the first intermission this way in under 25 energy, there is a slim chance your raid can do it though.

BUT, regardless if you have to handle another phase of empowered whirl, you would still get an entire full intermission phase of pure dps on garrosh, which would help significantly towards limiting your actual time having to deal with empowered mechanics.

Like was posted above, you can get banned for using an exploit like this. So use at your own risk.

Cool exploit yes, but sadly useless. Your talking about gaining more dps by adds beaing dead, but if you need the dps then thats not where your going to get it. Phase 2 length really does not matter. The only real dps requirements in that fight is before the "tripple combo" where he does whirl - desecrate - mc and this is in phase 3 meaning this phase 2 "maybe" dps increase is rather useless.

Ontopic - If you can manage this somehow and still clear the first under 25, it'll help you out alot.

As previously has been said, watch out as it's probably highly noticeable as it's and endgame heroic boss.

When you phase to second intermission, the mobs respawn. Tested tonight on EU servers.
