Farm the timeless rare Spelurk

Spelurk is a rare that hides in the caved in cave. He spawns when you break the rocks that are blocking the entrance. You are meant to do this using one of the legendary artifacts that can be looted at hidden spots on the timeless island. However, I've found a way to break the cave in and summon the rare without acquireing one of these rare artifacts.

How?

Step 1. Wait for the cave entrance to be blocked.
Step 2. Ask a friend to invite you to a new server
Step 3. Check if the entrance is still blocked.

Step 4. option 1. If blocked, go to step 2.
Step 4. option 2. If open, enter.

Step 5. Pick up the hammer
Step 6. Go back to your own server.
Step 7. Break the rocks from the inside.
Step 8. Kill the rare!

This can be slightly changed to allow farming of the rare. How?
Step 1. Go inside the cave on a server where the cave is not blocked.
Step 2. Ask your friends to invite you to their servers. Find a server where the entrance is blocked.
Step 3. Summon and kill the rare!
Step 4. Repeat from Step 2.

Eye of Kilrog works great for this. I've been summoning this guy on my 'lock for the past two weeks. Initially, I was using darkmoon tigers, but after experimenting, it seems any spell that lets you move through space works well.
