MOP Reputation as low lvl

Hey guys, long time no post from me. I think i found something cool. This might work as intended but I personally never noticed this before!

You can gain MOP rep way before you hit 90 ! Particularly in this case its rep with GOLDEN LOTUS. It might also work with other factions.


for GOLDEN LOTUS: (tested as lvl 85, but might work for even lower level characters!)
All you gotta do is go on your low level character and get a friend to help you kill mobs outside of the Panda city!

Also once you kill at least ONE mob, you can choose to champion the faction and get bonus rep from daily dungeon! Cheers!

At level 85 it is working as intended. Need to test this on a low level, like lvl 15 or so.

yeah i agree. i think before patch 5.4 you couldnt get any rep with lotus notes until 90 ? i could be wrong.

It's been available since patch 5.2. As long as you have made yourself known to the faction you want rep with, e.g. Golden Lotus, you can then que random dungeons to gain rep with them once per day, from level 85 onwards. I've been doing it on all my alts since 5.2.

I'm only interested to know if you can do it before level 85, as it was never intended for toons below level 85 to access MOP zones.

You can open up any of the pandaria rep ones from the warbringers by sending them to your alt and now u can actually Que for a random instance and get rep from that faction. Working as intended. I've yet to try on a lower lvl than 70 to see if u can Que and get rep from a Pandaria faction.

Did you introduce yourself with the faction in hand? Because my level 84 Druid just got his daily Shado Pan rep from doing a dungeon.... :3

He obviously didn't. Most 85's won't have any faction opened to them due to the starting quests in MOP. Usually what I do is get a friend to fly/teleport/summon me to all the rep vendors and then start queing random dungeons everyday for rep. All my toons hit 90 being revered with shado-pan and honored with golden lotus.

I'm 80 and I'm exalted with golden lotus, shado-pan, august celestials and klaxxi. Got that a long time ago simply through the tokens from drakkari warbringers and warscouts. I use this way to get rep for cloud serpents as there is seemingly no other way at 80.

Working as intended any character can use the tokens given by warbringers and once you have discovered a rep it is added to your dungeon stuff.

been playing MOP since release - never heard of drakkari warbringers. could you link a token from wowhead maybe?

I'm sure if you know of wowhead, you can just go to wowhead and search warbringer. Wowhead is so extensive, it'll show you what drops from the mob.

Warbringers have been around since patch 5.2.

Working as intended, you need to discover the faction first, before you can gain reputation with them. Do so by simply talking to a member of the faction. And please move this thread to guides.
