Well, you can verify a URLs validity by checking the domain.. In this case "dist" is a subdomain and you can see that the main domain is "blizzard.com", wich obviously
    is real.

If you were originally invited to be a beta tester for the client, it would have appeared in the same place as your games do when you have a beta invite.

The beta disappeared from the list of my games, but I can still download the client from the tab on the "Download Game Clients" page.

Soo I've noticed that this client automatically logs in(to the client) and you can start games without login too.
I have an authenticator added to my account and set it up so it should ask for a code on every login.
By using this client you dont have to enter a code/ accountdata whatsoever.

How does Blizzard makes sure that it's me who tries to log into the account?

    Also:
    - If I wanted to use a Powerleveling service and they log in with that client they could possibly level an account that has an authenticator activated without having to deactivate it, right?
    - When they are done powerleveling, will they still be able to log into my account with that client? Or does changing the password of my Battle.net-Account prevent that?

    So many questions...

    Overall I like that client.
Especially the abillity to limit download/upload speeds
