Tiger npc companion bug

Not sure if this is found already or if its a bug, exploit, guide or w.e but i think it's pretty fun.
Step 1: Kill Moldo One-eye (Rare in vale of eternal blossom that drop Panflute of Pandaria)
Step 2: Go to Shrine where the Tiger is (Saari is chasing a rat)
Step 3: Use the item near the rat.
Step 4: Tiger should now be running after you

You mean Moldo One-Eye - NPC - World of Warcraft, who drops Panflute of Pandaria - Item - World of Warcraft. Nice to give links for those of us that don't remember him, what with him being as forgettable as the rares in Jade Forest and all.

The tiger you mention is only on the alliance side, and while using the flute to "charm" the rat is working as intended, it's entertaining to have Saari follow you until you go anywhere else. Horde players might have a bit of trouble in "obtaining" this temporary follower, if not simply being unable to.

Oddly enough it also works on the named battle pets in front of Sara Finkleswitch, the battle pet trainer. So add a cricket, a red panda, and an otter to your band!
I say oddly because this trinket doesn't seem to work on any of the other battle pets around the daily battler NPCs.
