Garalon Pheromones Exploit

We all know the garalon fight.. or I hope or this might be hard to follow.


Step 1, Monk of any spec lays down Transcendence just outside the arena where Garalon is.
Step 2. Monk Pull Garalon and gets Pheromones.
Step 3. Monk Runs towards the Giant pillar of white smoke that wont allow you to exit Garalons Arena.
Step 4. Cast Transcendence:Transfer.. Porting you Outside his arena
Step 5. Take the Pheromones Where ever you like in HoF Including all the way down the stairs near the 2nd boss.


It helps if the monk is a healer and can heal himself.

I did post a picture clearly showing me.. outside his arena with the pheromones! Is the picture not showing up?

the question is... does the damage still go out on the raid? theres no problem with running out of space to drop pheramone pools, just with the stack getting high and raid taking obscene damage, if this exploit prevents the raid damage as well then it has value, if not then its just a way of cheesing LFR even more and getting yourself reported by some e-knight

I have yet to test this any farther. What I would like to know is.. If you have said Pheromones and leave said arena... Can you make it to the entrance and zone out with Pheromones on?. What will happen?? Lots of ways to test this and find something out to benefit your raid. I however am limited to LFR on my server and do not have a guild willing to let me test these kinds of things out farther. Hope one of you can that is why I posted!

This would also be used as a kiting tech. You could keep him facing one direction indefinitely. As in the tanks wouldnt ever have to move and the dps/heals would never get under him.

Indeed a good call there ^. If the monk was say a tank and simply tanked him in the corner outside the arena what would happen?

I doubt healers can heal you through that wall and does the fury swipe still hit you?

OP is posting from LFR, where the debuff doesn't get past 20 stacks. In reg/heroic modes because the debuff gets beyond 20 stacks where eventually the debuff will 1 shot you and the aoe will eventually aoe down the rest of your raid. You can also do this as a warlock with the teleporter and the gateway.

While a cool find I don't think this is worth it for heroic. High stacks of phero the entire time would not be fun.

Has anyone tested this? This could make it alot easier aslong as the stacks don't affect the rest of the raid.

Once pheromones goes over 25 stacks, the raid will become unhealable. Only use i see of this is the last person having the pheromones. Aside from that, the placement of pheromones is one of the easiest aspects of this fight... :P

PS: a lock could do the same with his portal, but he won't be able to heal himself quite as good as a monk can

The last time i did this for fun on my warlock, the boss reset once he got close to the wall.
