"God Mode" Mage (Spellsteal stacking exploit)

Hello Ownedcore community!
While questing on my mage I ran across something pretty cool!

1. You must be on the quest "Up In Flames"
Up In Flames - Quest - World of Warcraft

2. Spellsteal as many as the buffs as you wish from the mobs in this area.
-> Do not complete the quest or the mobs will not spawn anymore.

3. Profit.

The buffs only last two minutes. Hence, "God Mode" In title.

Nice, have you actually tested to confirm it's not just visual stacking, but the 80% damage reduction actually stacks as well?

I have not but I believe 80% of whatever my friend's "Shadow Word: Pain" should not be resulting in 2 damage.

Edit: I turned in the quest on accident thinking the mobs would still be there so I am unable to test any further but was able to recieve 1 damage from all incoming damage.

Exploits vs. “Creative Use of Game Mechanics” – A Brief Aside

I’d like to take a moment to note that what this guild did was not an “exploit” in the sense of being cheating, bad, wrong, or against the rules of the game. Players used Spellsteal to steal a beneficial effect from a mob, which is what the spell is supposed to do, and the beneficial effect increased the power of the mage, which is what it was supposed to do. This was the essence of “creative use of game mechanics.” (Note that this is not to say that it isn’t possible to violate the Code of Conduct by using Spellsteal in general – if you find a spell that you can steal that causes you to damage nearby allies, and you take it back to town to grief newbies, that’s a little different. . . .)

Buffs should not stack. Most spellsteal buffs over-write the previous buff if it is the same buff.
I believe since it stacks that makes it an exploit .

even though this is a repost, a lot of people still do not know about this / completed the quest. personally this is the best way to farm motes IMO. i feel its going to be fixed in 5.2 or later, they will just make it unstealable, but dispellable with quest item only. so fun to pvp with that buff! i was just dancing while 3 ally tried to kill me ;D fun
