Low level Monk quests grant high level XP(MONK ONLY)

Hello folks! I finally feel like I can contribute something after the many years ive been around! If this is not an "EXPLOIT" please move it to guides.

So basically I failed to do ANY of my Monk quests. I went back at lvl 89 and I noticed that, the items I got were still low level but the XP granted on said low level quests scaled with my current level(89) GOOD find for some easy XP. Here is a SS.

This may or MAY NOT work with OTHER class specific quests. If not, then this is definitely NOT working as intended.

Not an exploit. The quests scale with your level, therefore the xp will scale also.

If the quest scales then why is it a low level gear? Shouldn't I get rewards to meet my level?

It´s simple. As monk you get every 10 levels a quest. Since you didnt took it once (or mutliple times, whatever) the quest reward is same for that level, but the XP are scaled anyway.
Continue Your Training: Master Tsang - Quest - World of Warcraft is level 70 quest, if you not take it on 70, or any other level you can do it on 89 anyway, but for scaled XP.

That leads me to think if you not take any of these quests, you should like, come on 89 and do all those quests to ding 90 quickly... (warning, theory which doesnt belong there), someoen should test that..

I just tested this with a mage. The low level quests for a Mage DO NOT scale with a higher level. U.S. servers here. So this is NOT working as intended. Or if it is working as intended did they just make an exception with Monks?

I think it's an exception, the same way it happens with daily quests. Anyway +rep for trying to contribute.

By not doing the low level Monk quests you're not getting the +50% exp buff, which is imho a loss overall. Kinda stupid of you to be honest.

I wouldnt say its stupid. Cause you get +50% xp buff with daily q's too. You can get to lv10 and just sit at that level for months with doing daily every day at the end you can have 30+h of buff.

Im in NO hurry to level. but getting 380k XP over and over again for 2 minute quests? Yes very stupid >.>

It works as intended what I know of.
It works the same for any class that got the Altarec Valley quest that you can pick up on lower levels, I had my AV quest in the log until I got late into 88 when I decided to turn it in, and I got a couple of hundred XP for it.


EDIT: Not a couple of hundred.. I mean a couple of hundreds of thousands of XP

U must kill an npc 4 each quest and all npcs scale with your lvl.. so u also get more exp... working as intended

same with the brazie's sunflower quest, near dalaran crater. no matter what level you go there the exp will scale up. just fyi

Did you not see the Mage screen shot I posted? This post was intended as a CLASS ONLY(monk) exploit. Clearly the Mage quests DO NOT scale with your lvl. Am I to memorize every single xp scaling quest in the game? Do you?
