Easy Quality & Quantity Achievement (50 Rare Battle Pets)

So I was never one to really post my own findings on here (Sorry) But I wasn't sure if this was supposed to go in the "Guides" section or the "Exploits" section, since I'm pretty sure this is not working as intended.

There is an abnormally large supply of rare "Grove Vipers" in the Jade Forest, Just battle a random pet you find there and in the second battle pet slot there will usually be a Grove Viper and it will ALWAYS be rare.

I have battled about 6 pets in a row and they have all had rare grove vipers with them, thus making an easy achievement, by the way, if you capture 3 you cannot capture more, so just release it and continue capturing rare snakes.

I think this is an exploit. You should not be able to get the Achivement because you capture the same rare pet over and over agian until you actually find "50 Rare pets" or is it? Shouldn't it be different rare pets?

And it can be the same pet :P I'm not sure if it's luck or not.. but I swear I found 7 of these in a row.

I think this was hotfixed because I fought like 10 of them and no single rare appeared D:

ya just tested it..I got 1 rare out of 14

There was nothing to fix. The OP got lucky on the spawn or he had a group that spawned together which will give you the say pet setup for rarity.

Example: you find a Bandicoon with 3 pets tailing behind it. AS long as no one has fought any in the pack, they should all have the same rarity/pet. Like you'll get 3 bandicoons in the fight, 1 will be rare, the others will be poor. the next one in that same cluster will have the exact same make up.

But catching and releasing pets for the rarity achievement has been possible since beta.
