Warlocks demonic gate exploit

Hey guys, its been a long.. long time. But finally Ive found yet again another exploit.

Anyways! Simply do the following.
Step one: Use demonic gate, set it to how ever far of a distance you want.
Step two: Go through your demonic gate.
Step three: while traveling through the gate, use your demonic leap (if your a Demonology lock.) im assuming this also works with anything that would shoot you through the air, or anything of the sort.
I know it isn't much of an exploit but it is kinda fun, if you need to move really fast, already have it up. to kill a mob that spawned for a quest, or just to travel an x amount of distance without a mount or bother of walking.

So it increases movement speed? For how long ? What breakes it e.t.c.

I did followed those steps, and i just get ejected in the middle of travel between gateways , and nothing hapens...
