    [3rd Party] New Disconnect Macro

    Hello guys!

First of all, I am writing this post to promote Jadd's and Master647's new hack: WoWPlus!

I have written a LUA script that you can only use with WoWPlus to disconnect! Many people would ask: Why do you need the D/C macro if you have WoWPlus? Well many exploits require the use of the D/C macro

    Here is a video:

If you have an active subscription @ WoW-Plus, you can download this script from the LUA releases forum.

    WoWPlus site: http://wow-pl.us

    Enjoy!

I saw the thread and was excited but then I saw it involved a 3rd party program . Is this even allowed in this section?

It's because you mounted in a wall that you dc'd? Or instant dc because you are inside stormwind?
I know that you said it's via an lua script but looked like something else from that video

And like Snyth said i was hoping for an actual dc macro without third party software

Well, this is still a disconnect macro!

I found a way to disconnect, but it requires WoWPlus...
When the following macro/command is triggered: .script disc. It calls the disconnect function of my LUA script and you get disconnected.

I for one don't want to download any third party software for a dc macro. Thanks for sharing regardless, but yeah.

What everyone else said. Excitement, then let down.

Please tag your thread with [Hack] or [3rd PARTY] or something to prevent future disappointment.

Looking forward to VotU-US upcoming video, which has promised a new working DC macro. AFAIK, that group has come up with just about every DC macro this community has ever used, and I love 'em for it.

Added the [3rd Party] tag. Now would be a bad time to introduce a new D/C macro, its better for VoTUUS to wait till MoP! Otherwise they will just fix it

If they waited until MoP to release it... Blizzard would just fix it then, via a hotfix or an updated patch.

I personally have never believed in holding back on glitches / exploits. The only ones that hold their information are people that are afraid of fixes.

I personally do not make my decisions based upon fear. I am a strong proponent of share & release... let Blizzard fix things... we'll just come up with new methods... and we all know that Blizzard tends to open a window every time they close a door. No worries.

*edit: And I do hope that the DC macro that VotU-US will release is a true DC to the login screen (as they have done in the past), and not just a force-quit like Alt+F4...but that remains to be seen...

You could use a /script ForceQuit(); for now.

I've got a DC method that I found quite some time ago, didn't really need to use it though because of the DC macro, anyways here's how you do it:
    1. You need to have Window mode.
    2. Drag the Wow window to the right of your screen (So that only a little part of the wow screen is visible)
    3. Now when you can only see a little bit of your wow screen - Start to rotate your character quickly (With your mouse)
    4. If done correctly you will instantly get disconnected.

it's quite hard to explain so if you've got any questions, just ask.

Works, but with a delay of 2-4 seconds, I rotate him very fast and he disconnects after 2-4 seconds... Maybe it has something to do with your PC?
    Anyway, +rep

You could use a packet flood instead of this, and it will have the same effect, and you wouldn't need to do the window mode stuff

Hmm not neccesarily, I think it has something to do with the size of the wow window. Try to make the wow window larger and then try it .
