Annoy people with legendary staff event

Last night when I was turning in my legendary staff I realized you could restart the event over and over again by simply just unequipping your staff. The quest only completes when you have the staff equipped.

To sum it up

1. Start final quest (The Stuff of Legends).
2. Unequip Runestaff of Nordrassil.
3. Let event play out.
4. Go back to Hallegosa and simply just click the start event dialog.

Note: You do not have to abandon the quest to redo the event, and this WILL NOT bug out your quest. I can confirm that this does work.

Doubt this is an exploit :< Don't really know what you're supposed to do to get it to work, but if it's "letting the staff 'watch' the event" it's working as intended.

@Frajdenboi: I simply stated how to get it to work.... Unequip "Runstaff of Nordrassil" then proceed to do the final quest. Because if you don't have the staff equipped the quest cannot be completed. It can be classified as an exploit because it abuses the event by annoying people doing it over and over. "Clever use of quest mechanics to simply annoy people".

just join a raid and try to talk to Hallegosa.. then when the event start...just leave your raid and then join again and talk to Hallegosa..over and over..

It's a visual exploit, but an exploit nevertheless.

I'm not sure how and this would work out.

When I did mine, I didn't have the staff equipped, yet during the event it got equipped. (I wanted to be up there in my transmogged gear pre 4.3).

@Znuff: Hmm thats weird because I had an old naxx 60 staff equipped and it didn't auto-equip it for me.
