Hello.
heres what you need to do to make your character become red for as long as you want.

1. go to ironforge and obtain the fishing daily [Live bait] Live Bait - Quest - World of Warcraft
2. the quest will provide you with an item called [grimnur's bait] Grimnur's Bait - Item - World of Warcraft
3. now all you have to do is keep the quest, and use the bait when ever u want to turn red. (yes you can use it anywhere, not only ironforge)
