Good weapon set bonus

Hi, sometime ago i met a shaman in a 2v2 arena rated match; he was using 2 weapons from brs that have a set bonus that roots you in place for 10 seconds.
It has a very high chance to proc and doesn't have any kind of diminishing returns.
I think it's an exploit since most low level bonuses like this one do not work at higher level or have a very low proc chance and this proc doesn't have any kind of dimishing returns.

p.s. didn't try it myself but i think it could help some enhancement shamans or rogue or wars.
p.p.s. i reported the guy who used them into the rated 2v2 matches against me and then i think it will get fixed soon.

TBH it's not worth the damage loss for that little bit of extra CC. The damage loss is enormous unless you are switching weapons every 6 seconds to root someone which is plain annoying.

Edit: The proc chance is only 5% far from your "Very high chance" stated.

Exactly I agree with Traxex84, and it may be a nice exploit, but why would you even ever want to report that guy. You could've just shared it with us... You're not helping anybody by reporting him... As hotpocket said- grow up and swallow sadness like a boss.

lol i didn't even care about the arena matches since i was on an alt but i don't get why i shouldn't have reported him.
It's a game's mechanics abuse, it should not be allowed.
I shared it cause it has already been reported and to let the community know about it.
Isn't mmowned a site born to share the knowledge that, otherwise, would've been of few people?
At least that's how i see it: share the knowledge, not to take advantage over other people but to let everyone know and have some fun(possibly outside of competitions).

Agree with that but now with reporting it you have made it of killing the exploit and getting it fixed so nobody can make use of it... And i don't want to say that blizzard people don't check now and then ownedcore.

Again, my point is that exploits shouldn't be used to gain advantage over other players especially in competition enviroments.
I don't speak english well enough to deeply explain my point of view tho.

I understand m8 and sure sucks more if they get used against you. But those kind of things get fixed pretty fast just have to suck it up and enjoy it while it lasts. But thanx for sharing non the less to the community just don't report anyone for it pretty pls as blizz will fix it anyways and the poor guy got a big chance of getting banned now.

He spawns near the spiders in lbrs. Run in, run close typing /tar cryst if you can't see him run out, reset, repeat.

i have done this ~20 times and have yet to see him so this doesnt seem right
