[HOTFIXED] Ragnaros twice in one reset [MOLTEN CORE]

FIXED ON LIVE SERVERS AS OF JULY 6, 2011---BUILD 4.2.0.14333

Was fun while it lasted. Probably could have lasted a bit longer if the someone hadn't reposted on MMO-Champion.

***This Exploit is in MOLTEN CORE, NOT FIRELANDS***

    1. Talk to Majordomo to begin Ragnaros encounter.
    2. Attack Ragnaros when possible.
    3. Die to reset the fight.
    4. Ragnaros and Majordomo should both be alive. Talk to Majordomo again.
    5. Attack Ragnaros during his script with Majordomo.
    6. Kill Ragnaros. When he dies, he should respawn, continue his script with Majordomo, and reengage.
    7. Loot the corpse before killing Ragnaros the second time (optional, the two corpses will be stacked).
    8. Enjoy your double shot at Sulfuras and free 140(x2)g.

Watch in HD, else it's blurry.

All ready done Rag this week. Silly bindings and eye not dropping.

But I will test next week and get back to you. Fingers crossed cause this could be epic.

EDIT: Also awesome for rep. I hate Hydraxian Waterlords. And Blood of the Mountain. In fact. I just hate MC.

He doesn't despawn when you die to him. So he is standing there, attackable. After you reset/die you talk to Majordomo again (Ragnaros is already attackable at this point), you attack Ragnaros, then after he dies Majordomo summons another Ragnaros.

Well without being able to fully test this method out, it sounds like you can kill him more than twice?

Sounds possible if you wiped him a second time. I'll try tomorrow. If so it could be a bit more useful than I expected.

EDIT: The only problem I see with this is that since you'd have to have already killed him to push a third spawn, you would become saved to Ragnaros (not sure if this would force game to act differently). As it is the second encounter has already started before the first one begins, and resumes when the first one ends.

Wish I knew this when I was hard-farming ragnaros.

I figured this out 3 days ago when doing my usual weekly run. Got put in combat and came back dead. Saw that Domo was still there with Rag up which is not suppose to happen.

I have been soloing Molten Core for about 2 years now and farming it since BC. I already have Thunderfury on my paladin, but not Sulfuras. I also have a binding on my hunter. So I solo everything up to Rag on my hunter, then swap to my paladin.

The corpses do not despawn. I killed Rag twice, both corpses remained with different loot tables + different gold amounts.

I have screenshots which I can upload tomorrow if anyone wants more proof.

Oddly enough, I killed him once, and then during the 2nd attempt he got to around 50%, submerged, and never re-emerged. However, I am still in combat and I can still see his "leg area" spinning around in the lava...
