This looks like it will actually run any script you type in on the other computer. As soon as they click on the link. I was able to take Oomo's guild simply by having him click on a hyperlink that said "Check out [item]!". He has control back.

Basically, this function "embeds" the /script command to give someone else guildleader into a message. You click the message and it executes the script... you get guildleader.

K, thanks, could anyone give me the / command to pass gleader, e.g /Promote Guildleader (Playername) or what is it? Or even better, could you compile it in the format required to link this. I assume it's still through Real ID only?

The command is:

GuildSetLeader("yourName");

Making the script look something like:

/script XTestFunction(guildLeadersIDHere, "GuildSetLeader("yourPlayerName"); print("\124cff00ff00Deadly Boss Mods has promoted someone to Guild Leader. Please notify DBM of this vulnerability.");", "Is [Shadowmourne] gemmed right?");

The "Print" is just a warning to set off the trail, you can change it to anything you want.

This is the same for all of them apart from the XTestFunction which is laid out as

/script XTestFunction(ID, SCRIPT, LINK)

So to do ANY of these things BOTH parties need the addon? DCing RealID friend thingy also?

And it's not possible to just do this to people NOT on a friends list? Like someone who may be griefing you? Is there anything that can be sent to them with only me having the addon?

The only one the other person needs the addon for is the XTestFunction, which is the one where you can get anyone else on your real-id to execute any non-protected script by them just clicking the message you send them.

Yes, it is possible. No, it is not available in this addon.

Just a side note, commendations to hp94 and shorstuff for work on this excellent addon, it's the best addon imo in wow and i've had so many lulz out of this I can't count.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pass the torch. Hp94 worked on this addon solo, and released it as such.
