Are you sure they just didn't have the talent? Cos in the arena i'm always jumping and dispelling and have never had this happen to me.

Confident since I'm the shadow priest tested this with a shaman dispeling the vampiric touch I landed on him. Have the sin and punishment talent.

Just retested, apply vampiric touch on shaman, he jump and dispel. Sin and Punishment doesn't proc.

Anyone else confirm?

Just went up against a few shadow priests in arena today to test this. I jumped, and while in mid-air, I dispelled Vampiric Touch. 3 second horror every time.

Nice one; if it works; I'd like to add that most likely levitating would work to avoid it also, since levitating has the same effect as jumping.

and its broken on any dmg taken, so in arena vs shadow priest (and full DoTed) you wont be able to have levitation up for more than one GCD
