Frost mage solo any boss outdoor where you can mount throne of the winds tested

Ok guys found a legendary exploit i gotta share . If you go to a instance with a frost mage where you can mount you can basically solo the boss or weaken it to help your guild progress.

Step 1 - Make a macro for pet attacking ( for convenience) and put a mount on your bar
Step 2 - Get max distance from boss
Step 3 - As the bolt is flying though the air mount up the second the bolt leaves his hands ( or be mounting as the cast is going off )
Step 4- The bolt will hit the boss and take damage Yet not pull onto you.

The reason this exploit works is due to the fact that the water elemental despawns as you mount up thus the time delay where the boss has no one on its aggro table and still gets hit

Doesn't the boss just regen the hp back?

looks like his hp doesn't regen...hes sitting at 96% while the guy is mounting.

No thats the bad a part it takes awhile but as you can see it doesnt regen at all

think of the old sartherion lava trick bosses never regen period

that is epic....but i wouldn't do it for a raid boss unless i brought about 10-15 other frost mages with me so i wouldn't be there for 8hrs killing a boss.

it would take a good 5 hours with one but with a few 5 a hour for free lewt

I just tried this on my mage, but it wouldn't work
Every time i mounted (no matter when) the frostbolt from my elemental would not aggro or do damage.
Am I doing something wrong?

Well unless you can think of another class who has a ranged pet, then yes.

Looks and seems nice but as people said it would take hours to kill a boss and when exploits like this are found accounts get bans.

it shouldnt do aggro if done right . Wacth the hp it takes off 3 or 4k ish a hit

it should work in theory if when you mount the lock pet goes away
