How to Sell Surplus Fish

Using Mr Fish it, often times you get an oversupply of fish and not enough buyers. So instead of selling it on the auction house, sell it on the opposing factions auction house aswell.

I have not tried this yet, but can anyone confirm if this works?

1. Make a character on the opposing faction and bring it to the nearest auction house with some copper atleast.

2. Go on your main and list all your fish for an extremely low price at the neutral auction house.

3. Go back on your faction mule and purchase the fish.

4. Using your faction mule, list the fish you just bought from your main on the opposing factions auction house.

5. Once the fish have sold out, go back on your main and list any item on the neutral auction house for the amount of gold you earned on your faction mule.

6. Go on your faction mule and buy it, automatically transferring the profits back unto your main.

Not an exploit.... The tactic of selling on the opposing faction has been around for ages... with one exception...

Your variation of the tactic doesn't work because you cannot buy your own auctions... You'd need a second account or a friend to buy them.

What you should of said is;

If you have an over supply of fish only list 5 stacks and if someone undercuts you, list up another 5 for less, if they undercut you again, list up another 5 for less. Eventually they will stop selling fish or wait until yours are all bought and start at a higher price and try to copy your strategy. That's why i like to have 30+ stacks in the bank at all times + what i fished that day (usually 10).

If you bot overnight or just whenever you aren't doing something important you can easily make 5k gold a week if all your stacks go for 20g (My server they go for 50g)

well, i do kinda the same, i have an ally mage lvl 20 for teleport spell, usually to stormwind, and his hearth to booty bay, i need to use another account to actually do teh buying, but i have the privilege of having a whole family that plays wow, sometimes its worth the 15% cut, sometimes its not, but definatly an option, especially if you expand into pet trade and so forth
