Twink your alt with BoP Items!

Not sure if this has been posted, and it's not really an exploit... just a small "trick".

Step one: Ask a friend who'll not be needing to enter a party for a while to help you, make him send an invite to your main character.

Step two: Press alt+f4 to effectively disconnect your main but not kick him out of the party, now log onto your alt and ask a friend to invite your alt into the party with your disconnected main.

Step three: Bring your alt and main to the instance of your choosing using the alt+f4 technique.

Step four: Make your main kill all the mobs that can potentially agro your alt while trying to get him to the boss.

Step five: Now that you've cleared all the mobs with your main, alt+f4 and log onto your alt, make him run straight to the boss.

Step six: Alt+f4 again, log onto your main, and fight the boss...bring him down to about 5-10%, make sure you don't have your pet attack on by then, or dots, etc.

Step seven: Alt+f4 and log on your alt all while the boss is attacking your main, when you log in onto your alt, you will literally see the boss still attacking your main.

Step eight: Make your alt kill the already weakened boss, gather loot

Joking of course, since this is doing it solo, quite a pain to achieve but good idea

aint the DC thing fixed so right when u log onto alt ur main is getting dc and boss goes onto you and RIP YOUR HEAD Off MUwhahaha

The easiest way is to have your friend clear the instance all the way up to the boss, then you enter and attack the boss and get killed, but don't release. Then your friend kills the boss and loots him. You can still roll and loot it, and you gain ZERO exp. Win-win.

I really need to get my rogue some twinked items off VC but i hate asking guildies alot of the time, and because alot of the time they fail to answer. If this works i can just find a friend, invite, and let them do as they do as i get my items

Now that i think about it though it should work, due to when you push alt+f4 you are basicly just doing a logout. You dont leave immediatly, because if you did, no one would ever die now would they?

Or if nothing else, get them to a low enough % where even if you end up with aggro you can still kill them quickly

Lol.. i did something similar to this yesterday..
I asked a friend to join me and help me with getting Leggings of the Fang(he wanted them too for his hunter, ?I wanted for my druid) He has a 40 priest, which cant take down the mobs as fast as i can in WC.. i did 5-15 minutes doing the run for LotF.

The trick.

The priest went inside instance, and invites my rogue. i kill all mobs till boss and then i go outside instance and log onto my alt. then i run to boss and the priest kills the boss. (did 7 runs >.< I am really doomed, have always been )

dont think so.. maybe if you are on full server.. Im on recommended server and its even hard to get party's for instances here..

Yeah, it can be very hard to find somone to run you through unless you happen to be in a sweet guild.

Of course now that i think of it my rogue is only lvl 15, and being through might as well be the matter until i get to like, 17 or 18. :P
