Disconnect yourself with keyboard (G15)

I looked around on the forums and didnt find anything on this. THIS IS OF MY OWN FINDING.

Some may find this intresting some may not i figuired i should post it anyway alright here it goes.

I currently use Logitech G15 keyboard.(http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ke...s/180&cl=us,en)
and when i got it i tried using the G15 keys so i did the "MR" button and made a quick macro bound to the G18 key.. now the bind went like this.
Bind went like this its inside the quotes "weaadew qewwe dsdadeaaswsqsd" Mind u i bound this key IN WOW so dont try it just sitting on your desktop. so i did this in wow and it makes your char jump when running at like a 45 degree angle in front of u so i was wonder what happens if i spam it? so i sat there and spammed it (CANT USE IT WHEN RUNNING). and my char just moved so i spammed it some more and it d/c'D me... i was like WTF? i went back into wow and tried it again (i tried a total of about 4 times) and it worked every time. I Havent tested on other keyboards so im not sure may work on any G15 keyboard. Happy disconnecting. :wave:

hmmm i guess you could use this to do some mail scams if you time it right and im sure there are some other uses for it

this does work, but you dont need a g15 to do it.
just use a normal key for the same macro.

I'm pretty sure if you Alt + F4, you get the 20 second log out, doing the macro you may not get this. Any testers?

Alt F4 closes immediately, simple as that, no logout...

Alt F4 is more simple, but still a nice find...

He didn't mean that you get a logout window when you press ALT+F4, he means that you still are in-game for 20 seconds

just to clarify a couple things.
your in-game char will leave the game at the same speed with either alt+f4 or the macro. (so the disconnecting is basically pointless b/c your char will sit there ingame for a couple minutes).
this happens b/c of the /sit/stand abuse earlier in the game. until recently /sit/stand would make you look like you were headed in one direction but would make you stand in place. to fix that blizz made all macro's that slow down the client make you run in place instead. if you use the macro only a few time you will run in place. keep using it and you will disconnect.

If you are using a Desktop computer...
There is a cord in the back labeled "Internet" or "Ethernet" Unplug it... Viola! you are disconnected!
