I tried this earlier with my 10 man team, it works. However, the person sacrificed for the "exploit" to be a gain is marginal. The 10-15 seconds to move it on to a living raid member is better than having a DPS down for the majority of the fight in my opinion. All depends on your DPS. Phase 3 sudo enrage is tight with the additonal 3 million HP on Professor Putricide compared to normal mode.

You can still dump the plague, and saying its not an advantage is in my opinion loony.

You use your soulstones on the people designated to die(pref. non mana users), and before the 3rd phase.. or before both phase changes if you fancy that... you pass the unbound plague to the designated member, then let him tank the unbound plague till he dies. When ressing, the healers of course need to be aware, and the relevant buffs for his class has to be recast before the phase change. This way you won't have to deal with the unbound plague during phase 3 at all, relieving some of the strain on the healers. There are of course other ways to go about the dying... for an instance a shaman ankhing, then a druid innervating. Rebirth is also an option.

Doing this of course demands that you don't have any unnecessary deaths, since you will have less ways to revive, but if executed correctly, you will have a faster, more controlled, kill.
