the buff lasts 35 seconds, lets say you time it perfect and you refresh your buff AS SOON as the fight resets.

You now have 35 seconds(which is very unlikely) of buff. Fight takes 20 seconds to reset, you are now at 15 seconds on your buff. Another 15-20 seconds later portals spawn but too bad, your stack dropped. Would take at least 1 second to get inside up in the air and to the portal as well.

Best case scenario:
35-20-15-1=-1

You could get your stack up and have some extra healing for the first 10-15 seconds of the fight but it is not really worth it.

How exactly are you managing to stack this after the first reset?

The buff lasts 35 seconds.


If you reset immediately as you hit the last orb, you have 35 seconds til you can refresh it.
Therefore the boss needs to respawn and portals spawn and you pick up a new orb within 35 seconds.

The first set of portals take AT LEAST 30 seconds to spawn. Therefore there is no way you can stack past the first reset. The most you gain is you get to start dreamwalker with 10-15 seconds of extra healing.

THEORY:

IF the time you spend in dreamstate overlaps the reset time then, when you enter the dreamstate you can stay there for 8 sec(is that so?), while the meantime boss resets so:

(20(reset time)-8(time spent in dreamstate))+ X(time required for portals to spawn) + 1(time to grab vigor)=35

some complex maths...

X = 22 sec

Therefore if the portals appear at most after 22sec I say its doable - with perfect timing. gonna try it with guild next weekend.
