Wintergrasp marks, without being invited to the battle

Tired of "Wintergrasp is full"?
Desparate for my last three marks to get titan-forged shoulders one day, I decided to try to exploit the reward system.

This is only useful if you did not get invited to wintergrasp, because of the blizzard-set faction limit per side.

1. You will still only get marks based on your rank or faction win. If you fly above WG high, and dive bomb down, you will have enough time to kill the npcs on the road. Each will give a rank, if you can dive bomb 16 of them you can get corporal, thus getting 3 for a win.

Note: if your side loses you only need one kill for the one mark.

2. Near the end of the battle, wait outside on your flying mount, on the south side of the zone. Right as the battle is ending, line yourself up as close to the zone ground as you can be.

(The debuff lasts 8 seconds, and fades if you fly out a little). Right when the battle ends, before it announces victory and gives marks (about 2 seconds on the clock, or less), fly in and touch the ground.

If all goes well, you will get marks without being called to battle.

Self-confirmed. I will make a video if nobody else confirms as well.

Double self confirmed. A better spot to do this is roof of the fortress, where the relic is. You're out of port range flying 1 foot over the top, and you just land to be in range. Definately making a video next run.

I think the requirement to be awarded marks is your zone to be "Wintergrasp". I don't think it cares what your z height is, ie hover above wintergrasp at the end should be enough (assuming you have the rank).
