    Easy Putricide adds

    Hey.

    I searched and found nothing. If its a repost, provide a link and i will delete ASAP!


    On the proffesor putricide encounter, there will spawn adds once in a while. Which either have to be kited and/or nuked down.

    The trick with this is.. That if you use your abomination to start using its Melee attack ( Mutated Slash - Spell - World of Warcraft i belive it is), JUST as it spawns, and then spam it on the add. It will sometimes cause it to bug out so that it wont start chasing someone.

    That way your dps will be able to get it down fast, and no one will have to kite / stackup and take dmg


    I dont have any screenshots (Yet) as my guild is doing Bloodqueen lana'thel this week and we havent been on Putricide. Will provide some asap though..

    He says:

    The adds that spawn, preferably the green slimes, move quickly. You can slow them with slime from the abom tank, but you can also almost lock them down by having 1 death knight per green slime pop gargoyle right as they start moving. Easy green slime nuking.
    My exploit is working like this..

    Abomination tank stands and spamming melee hits on the slimes. So that they will sometimes bug out and NOT CHASE A PLAYER AT ALL!

    Not an exploit, it just targets the Abomination. Our guild have had this problem ever since putricide was released and its not a beneficial effect for the raid since it can target players dpsing it all of sudden.

    im all for exploits because it can make the game interesting and very fun at times,but some of these post are just really really bad,seems people are reaching when they say that these things are "exploits" on these adds,this should be labled "useless"

    If your guild cant kill slimes then u need to go back to ulduar,just saying.

    gone are the days of this site being very useful,now its more of a playground for bad players.

    with that said,goodbye mmownd and thanks for all of the useful stuff this site once had,no point in coming here for garbage post on a daily basis.

    The slime will charge a player, the abomination needs to SLOW the slime with its ability (not melee).

    Gas thing: Again, it needs to be kited by the player AND slowed by the abomination..


    What this does it making the slime / gas keep standing still and not moving. It bugs out.

    Conclusion: it IS an exploit, as this is NOT intended by blizzard..

    this is not.. useless. This can be VERY usefull for players who dont have enough dps for killing the slimes before it reaches its target..

    And about flaming me and my guild? wtf was that about?

    3'rd best guild on the server, and you say we should move back to ulduar?

    this is not.. useless. This can be VERY usefull for players who dont have enough dps for killing the slimes before it reaches its target..

    Tell me how its a good working. All melee cant get over to it since they have to wait for it to acquire target, and since Ranged can only nuke it that means that you half of the dps not nuking it. Giving it more time alive and giving you less time for the 2nd add. It might even respawn with the Volatile ooze still up

    Okay.. Im gonna explain this as simple as i can.


    1. The add will spawn

    2. The abomination will run over to it BEFORE it pursues a target and SPAM it with the melee attack it got

    3. The add will bug out so it will NOT pick a target, but instead just stand around targeting the Abomination not doing anything.

    4. Dps (including melee) nukes it down

    5. ???

    6. Boss dead


    The exploit here is that the add will NOT pick a target to pursue, but instead stand still so every one can nuke the bejesus out of it

    I still dont get the point of doing this, since if your guild cant do it normally then it plain out sucks dps wise. 2nd, its easy to see how bad/good dps is when you do it the normally way. And if your dps cant do it the normal way, i doubt they will make it far in phase 3.

    I will admit, it aint super usefull. But we still made some use of it in our alt run

    Yes, the slimes have bugged out once for me before, very useful and I wondered how I did it, thanks for this, alough my guild can kill the slimes, two or three retards will die from goo, we can do it, but the sooner and easier the better I say
