For me it cost 8 honor and I can sell it for silver, I am at the moment doing it and it works for me on EU server.

No, It costs 8 honor for a stack of Star's Tears. Therefore 32 honor = 1 gold.
Also since this is going to be hotfixed asap, Use sell o matic to sell and FreeRefills to buy.
