Kill certain mobs without them attacking you (ally boring tundra ~68-75)

Well this is dependant on having a quest but maybe some people will make use of this

There's a quest as alliance
Lupus Pupus - Quest - World of Warcraft

The mob
Oil-stained Wolf - NPC - World of Warcraft

What you have to do in that quest is use an item on a wolf, and it's going to pretty much take a dump and disappear, but if you feel like just grinding away a bit without losing any hp or having to move, then

You throw the item at the wolf, and while its coming to the meat and then taking a dump, you start attacking it. There's about a 15 second window before it disappears, but its more than enough time for me to kill that Oil-stained Wolf

They still give you full experience and whatever loot they drop, and also skin them if you happen to be a skinner. You can just sit and throw the meats away without looting their crap.

You can also start attacking them, and throw the meat halfway through killing them and they will turn yellow again, without going back to full hp, and not attack you (if you are ranged or just dont want to wait for the cd or w/e)

The main drawback is that there's a cooldown on the item of 15 seconds before you can use it again, so that's the main time bottleneck right there

Hope someone can make use of this, not that non aoe grinding is even good anymore, just something i found while leveling~

yeah just quested through there few days ago noticed if i could kill the worgs before they dissapeared then i could get full xp for them

why not just kill them the normal way? you should 2-shot them anyway with BoA gear.

Leveling a hunter ATM and I own those wolves in 5 or 6 seconds tops, and I dont even have BoA gear. This takes longer than just killing them XD

I'm sorry, I would say this is useless, how often do you actually die from normal none elite npc's? Just go kill normal mobs.

And not the most efficent way of earning money on skinning neither leveling it.

Unfortunately, it's probably be a lot more effective to run around and grind normal mobs (or quest for that matter), even if your class has a lot of down time.
