[Hallows End] Help yourself with the Wand achievement!

This is a neat little "bug" that I found yesterday. It makes it possible to use a wand that you've got on your alt on your main and get credit for it.

Requirements:

A main.
An alt with a wand.
A friend on your server.

First, start off with placing your main and your alt close to eachother. Make your friend invite your main. Open up another instance of wow, disconnect yourself, and log onto your alt. Make your friend invite your alt to the same group. Your main will still be in the game for about a minute, and during this time you can use the wand on him. Relog your main and PROFIT!

I hope some of you will find this useful. It will save you a few gold if you don't want to buy wands from others.

well you could just log onto another account / tell your friend to to so.

ask for sweets and hope for wand.

so -> all your friend has to do is get a wand on his alts to buff you. you can do the same for him.

The disconnect method is old, this is how I used to boost my priest in SFK.

Yes, I know that this is old, "common sense" and all that stuff, but I thought it might be useful to some people.

These stupid comments are by people who are butthurt that they didn't think to post it first.


If this is considered "old" and "common sense" then so is soloing headless horseman via terrain bugs like jumping over walls since thats been around since vanilla along with 90% of the other stuff that has technically been done before but is applied in a new way.

As a matter of fact I specifically remember a hunter soloing naxx 40 back in the day and providing video of it, he was simply kiting stuff back and fourth by dropping off ledges and running back up.
