Currently selling elementium ores for 950g each on my server
Respawn goblins can't drop as mentioned above. this worked in vanila but was fixed before TBC. Elementium can only drop the first time you kill goblins.
GG in actualy checking if it works before posting.
This seemed familiar to me...as others have said, this was fixed years ago.
I hate to tell you this but farming BWL 2 weeks ago, using respawned packs method, I had one ore drop. Now I do not know if it was a glitch or luck, as in 3 hrs we saw only the one, so I would not recommend this method. As I posted before you are much better off just taking 5 ppl and farming the packs in one go, and repeat on alts if you have them.
I don't know if you consider it "respawned goblins can't drop ore." But i can confirm doing the method of Respawning a single pack by not killing all the mobs will give you the chance to farm lots of ore.
I'll elaborate:
My friend and i got up to just past broodlord lasher. the two of us are DKs and we alt tabbed a shaman buddy but kept him logged off while we fought. We took off all our gear with durab with the exception to a weapon. We would pull the first pack with technicians and kill all of them at that gate right behind where broodlord sits, Un-equip our weapons leaving the locks. Sometimes they would spawn their felguards sometimes they wouldn't but either way we would let the locks kill us. Then we would log on our shaman buddy and rezz ourselves. Loot then repeat.
we ended up walking away with 5 ores in about 2-3 hours of doing this. And i'm certain that they dropped off respawned technicians.
This method was slightly less efficient than a hunter or rogue doing it since we would run into rezz timers (no more than a couple minutes though) but it worked for what we had available.
But my friend has a theory that each techician "place holder" can only drop one ore since we never got more than 6 ores from this single pack (and there were 6 technicians in the pack that we only ever used)
Hope this variant method helps some people![]()

People are idiots.
You can STILL get ore off of already killed mobs.
I farm ore weekly, using WoWInfinity to blast up to the room. I leave noclip and superfly on, kill all but one mob and run out and reset.
When you zone in, you can hack back up to the spot, loot your ore, kill the demons that spawned via portals because they dont despawn after you leave. Rinse and repeat.
5 ores can drop per raid ID.
Thats the ONLY rule when it comes to ore. Sure, the chance may be low; you may be a *****, get an ore your first time then not the next two off the same pack and claim "OMG THEY DONT DROP IT AGAIN."
But its 5 ores per ID, no mob rules in place.
Looks like you put some time into it, and looks pretty decent.
+8.
Interesting guide, thank you![]()
Good variation of what I posted as well, and thanks for crediting a bit
I did know about your method, but I just figured mine would be good for any old person who might've jumped into a pug BWL who doesn't normally have people to put them together. That way they can abuse the save for the one goblin
But either way, glad it's posted so people have options![]()
very nice+rep when i can
By reading this thread it seems that this is fixed, Is that true?
What about http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...uper-easy.html
Does that still work?

The method you linked is the one I posted, and yes as of LAST week it was still working for me. I got about 5 ore with very little farming each day.
I have not cleared BWL this week so I cannot test it this week, but when I do, I will post in my method under the Guide section with a SS of me lootin some Ore when I can.
Also if ppl don't have the onyxia scale cloak Firemaw will own them with 1-2 breaths.
Good way to make the raid fail and use it as a excuse to disband it so you can go farm your brain out.
Take new players not old one's.
Unless you have friends that are willing to help
Question. In a pack. does that mean as in that you aggro one goblin, and then lots of other comes, Is that a pack?
Just wondering if i whas going to kill whole instance and leave one alive or not.![]()
Could you get to the goblin engineers using Wowinfinity rather than organising a raid?
