Supposed trick to get to the outland {unconfirmed}

OK first off u need a mage. Get him to the UD / baron side of strath, next get your character close to the instance portal ( but dont zone in). After you have done this blink through the portal (it wont zone u in). After that u are free to move forward and u will see a gate in which u click on to open, do this. After that you can jump off and u will have a pretty big drop. Unfortunatly slow fall doesnt stop you from dieing =(. But once you are dead you can see mountains in the background which is supposedly the outland.

Now i have done this all on the test server (U.S.), but i figure if i can get a warlock to SS me i think i can rez there and continue exploring. If there is anyone willing to help me out here plz post. I am on test server

well i while doing this i also found out that you can go into strathholme turn around and blink through the instance that way. Now there is also a little jump after you blink through the instance here too. However slowfall will stop you from dieing here. I am gonna explore around this part and see whats over here then i will post what was there.

well unfortunatly it was just a very big mass of land with different color textures.... feel free to check it out on your own if you want to though

Outland No longer exists.

The files for it were REMOVED from the Warcraft Mpq's in 1.10
The method of going there involved being feared off of the Booty Bay boat.

The place your see'ing is "Behind Strat" as you could say, and is basically a Barren No-Mans land.

yea...well i sorta got in uninstanced Baron on accident me adn a priest were duelin jsut outside the entrance to isntrance...he <c'd me in adn it didnt load me in and i saw the colory gate adn i couldnt resist so i walked in felll a LONg way and the mountains r prolly just the mountains to the north side of EPL. i tried to rez in the uninstanced portal couldnt so i got stuk falling if u rez there u just keep fallingthen die another zillion feet lower so...i wouldnt try it lol

Outland is in WoWs game files if you use WowMapView, it's far to the south-west of Stranglethorn Vale, so it's nowhere near Stratholme. As Ronguts said, the area behind Stratholme is just a barren no-mans land with nothing in it.
