Hey all, newbie poster here, but I thought I'd throw this out since I haven't seen it or heard of it yet. It's a little trick for Hunters and, theoretically, Shaman, to see into Old Ironforge. Hopefully I'll get the chance to add a screenshot or two later today.
Step 1: Hop on to the railing on the staircase leading down from the bank. This would be the right railing if you were directly facing the bank. You can also use the brazier to the right of the mailbox.
Step 2: Hop on to the pillar to the right of the bank/mailbox from either the railing for the staircase or the brazier. Move directly behind the pillar towards the center. Yes, this is one of the dueling areas in Ironforge. ^_^
Step 3: Use your /cast eagle eye (or Far Sight) macro and target an area nearby. If you don't get it right away, keep moving around until the macro works.
Step 4: "Hop" using Eagle Eye/Far Sight through Ironforge to the throne room and the entrance to Old Ironforge (to the right looking forward into the room).
Step 5: Target an area directly against the door and move your camera angle around so that you can see inside and past the door. You will only be able to see a very small portion of the hallway, but it should be enough. Target the floor as soon as you get the chance, make sure it's a good bit away from the door.
Step 6: Move your camera angle around again if it hasn't already adjusted and viola, you're in. "Hop" away to your hearts content and explore Old Ironforge. It may not be on foot, but you can still see it all.
Shaman might want to stand out of Ironforge and then just work their way in using Far Sight to avoid any griefing.
Sorry if somebody's heard of this and it's a double post. I hadn't seen it around, so I thought I'd go ahead and throw it out. Hope it helps.
