I can think of a good use for this. Server resets are announced in-game. I always have a hard time when I need to hearth to Dal, take the portal to the AH in IF, but need to get back to Dal right away. It's kinda a pain to get a Mage port and probably gonna cost you 5g (on my server). If you have the need to get back to Dal, then IF, back to Dal @ the time a server reset is about to happen, then this would benifit you since you wouldn't have to buy a Mage port to get back to Dal right away. Just an idea I had about using this.

Or even better if you want to save a inventory slot, leave your hearthstone in your bank and when you want to hearth just use the stuck option in the help menu.

i dont think blizz cares bout it... Server Restart = Server Reset.... All mobs respawn etc etc.... common sence ?

I am fairly sure that when a server is RESTARTED everything gets...restarted. Im not saying that it isn't decent of you to share, im just saying I think you wasted your time posting it, because it is, indeed, working as it's meant to.

One more thing... If you hearthed right before a server restart then *server restarts*. Why would you go gallavanting (word of the day ftw) around for under half an hour with the intention to hearth back? And @ angelzero, get a bank alt dude.

i'm not flaming, but this clearly has no use.

like what was said before, if you're already where you hearthed too, why would you need to do it again?
