100% Chance To Win STV Fishing Contest With Xfer

The STV fishing contest always starts at 2pm server time. If you happen to play on a est/cst/mst server what you can do once the contest begins is fish up your 40 fish then log out. They will stay in your bags for 4 hours. Now the part that sucks. You need to pay for a paid server transfer to a server with a later time zone (est to cst or cst to pst for example). Server transfers usually take <30 min so even going from a mst to a pst server should work. Once you get to your new server wait for it to hit 2pm server time and the contest to start then turn your fish in and win! I'm sure people will find this much more useful if blizzard opens free transfers since you won't have to pay.

Are you stupid? Of course it's an exploit. This is the common sense definition of an exploit directly from the sticky:

"An exploit is a bug or design error that gives your character unusual powers."

The fact that the fish will stay in your bag longer than it takes to transfer servers enables you to INSTANTLY WIN the fishing contest - which is pretty unusual. And there are plenty of players chasing all the Achievements who would consider this worthwhile to guarantee a fishing contest win. Have you ever even attempted this on a PVP server?

Please, if it's not too much to ask, think a little bit, Tatertots, before responding.

i like it. for some people it WILL be worth the $25, that contest is a bitch

and yes i'd consider it an exploit... what else would it be? you think the game was intended for that? sure it's "working as intended" because your items stay on your character when you transfer... but it's not intended to give people an advantage in a timed challenge, which it does.

Good point - it's pretty close to 100% chance, but not quite. I'd be hella pissed if someone beat me to the punch on this one. I'd have to find him and anus-punch him.
