Solo Omen (Lunar Fesitval)

This is my first exploit posted on this site, hope you guys like it. I'm going to get straight to the point, Omen does NOT reset his health after wipes/players running away.

Players can solo him but he has 5.5mil health so it would take a long time (Hydross, anyone?)

Simply do dps from range while running away, cause him to de-aggro and repeat.

A more practical use for this is when your raid only has 1 healer, attempt the boss anyway until you run out of mana, run away from the boss, drink up, repeat.

Edit: Removed the evil word 'theory', although I know for certain people can solo him. Seriously, when you see the word theory and know its true, use common sense.

Or you can just run into the light after someone else has killed him and get the credit anyway.

Hardly an exploit. Blizz obviously designed him not to reset, so this is more like a Tip than an Exploit.

this is the way omen has been since the first lunar festival. definitely not an exploit just common knowledge.

Yeah, normally I just wait with a group and help them kill Omen (without building too much threat/aggro)

Well if you see him dead you can go pass his corspe and you will get buff and quest completed..... =) Thats easier just let horde kill it and you just come and pass his corpse!

Also close to the temple theres a tre huging the right side where you get up.. you can pathing bug it there to solo him without reseting (as a lock, spirest pref due to dots..)

Explain to me how this is not useless... You could spend 3 hours soloing Omen or you could spend 10 minutes in a group or just walk into the light after someone else kills him.

It's not like he has some epic drop table that you'll get.

Just an FYI to anyone trying to do this: you can't kite him anymore (he turns around no matter what shortly past the bridge) and he despawns after aprox. 3 hours, much to the chagrin of the group I was just with. Balls...
