How to get out of BGs without AFKing and no deserter!!!

This is used to get out of BGs without deserter buff


Okay, so heres the trick... Earlier this week i was in some BGs, and i wanted to get out of them (stupid long WSG). I knew that zoning out or/afking wouldnt work so i tried somethinga friend told me about a while ago which is minimizing WoW, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and ending the process named WoW.exe. I tried it and it worked! i got out 3 times using this (Because thats all i ever needed to get out) I havent tried on other BGs cept WSG, if it helps any i was in the 40-49 range, 48 BE priest. Let me know if it works 4 u too!!! This system is almost unbeatable because of the way WoW detects if you just leave the BG. If your computer shuts down, it ends all processes, including WoW.exe, so WoW ends right there, instantly. If you logout or exit game, there in a little bit of a delay, and the server knows that you just logged out.

...or you just /afk and wait 15 mins... I mean 5 mins ain't much :P

some guy posted a way better way to get out yesterday! just walk out the portal while you are dead, no desserter!!!!!!!

Can somebody verify the "walk out the portal while dead" thing still works? Yesterday somebody said it didn't work and they still got Deserter.

Also, when you Alt-F4, do you have to wait to log back in, or can you log back in right away... Waiting 10 minutes is a waste of effort since Deserter is a 15 min wait anyway...
