Currently grounding totem is bugged to some extent. From my testing i've found that any spell that causes no dmg will be absorbed by the grounding totem but not destroy it. So far ive tested hammer of justice, repentance, cyclone, and sheep. Basically what will happen is your totem will turn red and look like it has a bleed effect, but will not die. However there are two problems with this.
A. After a non-damaging spell is absorbed, it takes anywhere from 2-4 seconds for the grounding totem to regain its effect
B. Damaging spells still remove the grounding totem
However, from testing, i've found that cyclone is particular only takes 1-2 seconds for the totem to regenerate.
