As some of you may be aware, a Deathknight on Frostmane recently got a Thunderfury (legendary item from molten core). The quest item for Thunderfury (bindings of the windseeker) has class requirments on it.

Specifically: Warrior, Rogue, Hunter & Paladin are the only classes that are supposed to be able to wield this item.

Here is the quest item that drops in molten core:

If you check his achievments you will see that he cleared Molten Core on the 13 and also got the feat of strength for the Thunderfury on the 13th.

A few warriors in my guild we're soloing some of Molten Core for bindings since Wrath of the Lich King came out and the one player that got it said it did not have Death Knights listed on the item as a class that could use it.

It would seem that for some reason, DeathKnights are able to start the thunderfury quest line. Don't know how long this will last, or if it applies to Warglaives as well, but if your a DeathKnight you may want to add Molten Core to your weekly soloing feats and hope you get lucky to pimp your guy out with a Legendary you're not supposed to have!

When you look at the bindings it has "death knight" added to it, similar to Robes of the Void.

even though it doesnt say so on sites such as wowhead.

Now it is. seems hotfixed
