Hunter pet buffs lasting for weeks

As reported from Beta, http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-ex...nking-pet.html, I can confirm that this still works on live.

So when you're lvl 79 and just before you ding 80, fill your stable with lvl 74 pets. Make sure you give them Bestial Wrath, Mend pet, Last stand (tenacity only) and any other pet buffs you have. And if possible, have other classes buff it as well. When the pet has all buffs you want on it, put it in the stable. Rinse and repeat for all your pets.

When you're level 80, you will now have 4xlvl 75 pets with buffs that lasts for several weeks, and it will be really easy to level them up to 80.

The buffs will last until the pet dies, or until you die when you have the pet summoned. They will not be removed if you dismiss the pet before you die. Keep that in mind if there's a wipe incoming.

If you are level 80 and want to level a pet easily this is a fine and very useful exploit. and also if i was going to bother getting all this buffs i would use another pet for raids.

what you are saying is somewhat the same as saying this aint an exploit/usefull for me, and posting that kind of bullpop is really unnecesary

Are you kidding me? In a Naxx raid last week, both me and my pet died 0 times. Main tank dies: Call pet back, start dismiss pet cast, move to a safe spot and feign death. Really, if you are a hunter and you are dying a lot you are really bad.

Your pet has to automagically level in the stable, hence it only works for pets that are 5 levels below you when they are in the stable.

This is very useful for leveling pets once you hit 80 and you have a full stable of pets that you wish to keep.

As for the guy dying over and over in raids and thus thinking it's useless... *sigh* *lol* and *facepalm* If you DO die that often, just follow the tip I posted about dismissing the pet before dying, and buffs won't be removed from it. I use that all the time in raids because I'm a cheapskate and don't want to use more petfood than nescessary

Hey, Tengu, just as a pointer: If you have a ferocity pet put a point or two in Bloodthirsty, you'll hardly ever have to use Mend Pet or Feed Pet.

Nice bug, I did notice my Carrion Bird still had Fort on from level 35 :P
