if you don't tell no one, how can they know? i don't think they keep track of everyone, only the first who dings 80. But i am not sure, just what i think.
Typ athene got reset to 70 and a 30 day ban for mob tagging so he got to 79 in less than 15 hours
No, Athene is playing right now... bumped in to him a few times at Dragonblight.
He wasn't reset, he has always been 70. The Warrior they powerlevled; Darius, he got resetted![]()
****!!! i completet that quest 4 hours ago...**** **** ****
got screens? :3
Just trying to contribute since this site is so great.
You will NOT get a ban for using this exploit at all. It's madness to think you would. And for the person who was on about exploting the trick or treat clicking thing. You can not get banned for that either. The only way you could have got banned for the trick or treat thing is if you were using third party software (The multi-click program) to get the treats quickly before the debuff. If you were simply just clicking as fast as possible with your fingers, there is no law against that.
All that is going to happen, is they will fix this and you just won't be able to do it anymore. There will be no huge banning or resetting of levels for doing this. So just make use of it while you can.
You guys are stupid... blizzard can ban you for what ever they want, its their game and they can make up rules on the spot because they controll the game. If they wanted to they could ban you just because your a warrior. If you do this, its exploiting, any kind of exploit is bannable. The trickey treats are also bannable wether you used a program or not because if you read the rules it says any kind of exploit which gives you an unfair advantage over other players is against the rules.
You..... are talking nonsense. If that applied... then nearly everything would fall under the umbrealla of unfair advantage. Would I be banned for having a T3 40mb connection and 4gb of ram and awesome video card... compared to another player who has dialup and experiences shit loads of lag? Because that is an unfair advamtage. Just as unfair as disovering a bug that they should be aware of on THEIR side. If nobody else discovers the bug I wouldn't call that unfair.
Maybe all the pallas should be banned then for there overpower at 3.0.x launch? I mean.. it was blizzards fault wasn't it? And did they not have an unfair advantage? Or maybe like the macro that was available to WL's that would give them 5 second kills about 6 months back. No mass banning for that either.
Wait.. You're saying Blizzard, the one's who make the spells, and the class, wasn't at fault for the overpowered Pally's? Are you on crack. Blizzard will at least reset you for this, so I'd advise not to do it if you enjoy your account. Go back to the Tricky Treat thread, and see how many people were banned. Go ahead.
I'm sure you could get away with it two or three times, just don't go overboard.
Read up. I said "it was blizzards fault wasn't it?". Of course it was blizzards fault. My point is that I could never see them banning someone for cancelling a friggin' quest and retaking it over and over! Whooaaaaa, massive unfair advantage there. Oh, and like 99% of people were using other methods to get the tricky treat exploit... Like lagging there modems out like ****, and using software to have a click 1/1000sec. THAT is why they were banned. People are NOT gonna get banned for clicking a damn button as fast as they can. Come on! That's plane insanity.
Or when they screwed up and gave away free pvp gear and everyone went mad and bought loads. No bans for exploiting on THERE mistakes.... they just took it all back.
