Mean trick...DC Gliders in your area.

Ok, now this trick is honestly a trashy thing to do....but it has worked twice for me, but it may not confirm, so someone test it out.

If you want to farm an area and someone is gliding in it, and you are PRETTY sure after whispers with no response and such that they are gliding, send them:

[Yano] whispers: Kk I reported you (space here to the end until the cursor skips, then you know that it is on a new line) <GM> [Cake] whispers: Hello

This should appear to them as:

[Yano] whispers: Kk I reported you
    <GM> [Cake] whispers: Hello

Now, Glider DC's if it detects a whisper from a GM, as in it shuts down, meaning if they are farming that area while gliding and not watching it, they won't be farming anymore. This has worked twice for me, but COULD be because they were farmers and didn't want to risk being banned. It may be that Glider relies on the ACTUAL GM whisper to DC.

Nonetheless, worth giving a shot. Managed to clear me a spot to farm. Again, a low-down dirty tactic, but hey, what's life without a few laughs.

Mean trick...DC Gliders in your area.

Yeah, you could do that, the real reason you do the <GM> thing at all is because it should cause the Glider program to recognize a GM whisper and log off.

You could modify it later if you wanted to mess with farmers, but for now, the GM whisper should cause Glider to shut down.

Very old? I doubt it, unless you didn't read the whole post and think this is just the "space far enough to create a new line in chat and trick your friends" trick...that is old. I've never seen or heard of this, and I'm not even sure it even works.

Don't say things are very old unless you have something to back it up. I am a member on the Glider forums, Mmowned, and have looked through various ways to screw farmers, and I've never seen this.

I dont think the glider will disconnect since the message is being sent by yourself, even if it looks like a GM writes.

This is TRUE. Test with friends...I didn't do it, but I only whispered the 2 that DC'd after I'd been botting with them basically overnight, so I KNEW they were afk.

Otherwise, it might need an actual GM confirmation to DC and they could've been dumb/caught off guard and logged. Either way, test it and see if it works for you, when my friend logs on I'm gonna find the surefire answer and see if it DC's his glider.

well since its the glider that detected it, there is no point on having it on a new line, the log in glider will apear like this

Username: I reported u ......................................... <GM> Username: Bla bla bla banned!

so IF this does work, you could simply whisper : <gm> <BillyBob> Banned or w/e

Good idea to think that up tho, but its pretty mean (wouldn't u hate it if some1 did that to u????)

PS, it wouldn't let me have a space between 'reported u' and '<GM>' so i put dots in an edit

Don't rep him, I actualy came up with this Idea about 4 days ago, I did it 4 times to 3 different people, Only 1 of them actauly came back and said Uhh yeah sure, or whatever. The other's were simply AFK botting, and it didn't log off. It had NO effect whatsoever, so as an Idea its good, But it simply doesn't work.
    O RLY?
    YA RLY.
