[WOTLK] Flying mount in wintergrasp

well any beta tester knows that its impossible to use a flying mount in wintergrasp right?

WRONG!!

I discovered today that if you fly to wintergrasp in your flying mount from borean tundra over the mountains.. you will stay mounted even after you enter Wintergrasp!

I flew all the way to the hold untouched-- then I dismounted by accident and it wouldnt let me mount back up


I WILL POST SOME PICS LATER BUT THE SERVER IS DOWN RIGHT NOW AND I KINDA DISCOVERED THIS BY ACCIDENT

I have no idea of what wintergrasp is but im pretty sure after WotLK comes out you can fly (on flying mount) in azeroth? dunno if im wrong but i dont know wtf wintergrasp or borean tundra is.
Since i dont play beta..

@OP Not an exploit...
Blizzard puts it so you don't dismount so you can get to your other destinations by passing through Wintergrasp. Flying is the only way to get their anyways..

Yep, they will never allow flying in Az because they won't take the effort to fix every little hole in the map that someone could find and exploit.
Also it would uncover the empty places in the map to the regular user and would make people ask blizzard why they can't fly into the Battleground or in open Instances...

This isnt an exploit really, maybe overlooked through... As you're flying around in wintergrasp, you cant really do anything, and soon as you dismount from your flying mount, You cant remount.

Notahax is correct, there is no exploit in this at all. You can fly around Wintergrasp to get to other destinations.

Flying mounts are NOT allowed in wintergrasp.. I am using one therefor its an exploit
u may think its intended but I know its not

and to the guy who stated that it is normal to use flying mounts in AZ.. NO flying mounts have not been implemented into azeroth as of now (ever most likely) and wintergrasp is a PvP zone in WOTLK

just something I thot u guys should know-- because I had no idea this worked untill I found out by accident- -and also im pretty sure they will nerf this at release-- it could allow people to fly over a base in huge mobs and then drop in on it-- an EXPLOIT

Read my post, You can use it, sure, but only once as you zone in, but as soon as you start pvp'ing and your demounted, you cant get back onto your flying mount without dezoneing and doing the same thing over again... Way too much effort.

It's not an exploit. Unless any time you wish tog et to a zone on the other side, you should be expected to go the long way around it, OR get dismounted, fall to your death, rez, run to the other side, Then mount up outside of it... yeah...
