Change item icons!

Hi First of all you need CT mailmod to do this, this can be downloaded at www.ctmod.net .

Ok go to the AH and buy some crap items that are cheap, and bid on some item.

Now, go to your mailbox and open it, Get a friend to be ready to outbid you on the item you bidded on but dont do it yet. Now, you open the mailbox and click "open all mails" and while the CTmod is opening the mails, your friend outbid you on the item you bidded on!

and Voilà, the item you bidded on should have the same icon as a "pattern"

This can be useful with scamming, like putting shadowfang up in the AH with a pattern icon

by what you said im thinking this is clientside only

this is clientside only indeed... this worked on all items before if you just go to windows while loging in... im not sure if it still works...

Thats what I thought at the start also BUT when I putted it on AH and looked at "My auctions" it still had the pattern icon, and when I cancelled the auction it had the pattern icon in the mailbox.

yes but that is still to you. You need to get your friend to confirm that the pattern icon is there for the item for you.

yeah even though YOU still saw it in the AH, that doesn't mean anyone else did.
