[Shadow Priest] INFINITE mana with non-combat pet!

Best exploit I've ever posted here, here it goes:

At christmas you get a pet called "Clockwork Rocket Bot". If two of them are summoned close to each other, they kill each other.

Now the thing is that if shadow priest's rocket bot is killed, it is counted as his kill. This means it triggers spirit tap! I have tried this 3 times, worked every time. So basically in raids you get infinite spirit tap mana regen if you just keep summoning the pet when tap wears off.

Long story short:
1. Have the pet on shadowpriest and some other guy.
2. When you want free mana, summon out the pets and gain Spirit Tap.
3. Rinse and repeat every 15sec
4. Profit

Reason this isn't posted before is probably that the bot was switched to work just few patches ago.

TIPS:

This may probably work with other effects/talents that trigger from killing an enemy.
Even if you are a healer in raid guild, you could probably spec for tap if there is someone other with the pet too. 5 talents is cheap price from infinite mana.

nice find, but you sure it works? I thuoght it was only opponents which give exp/honor that activate things like spirit tap and 'on kill' trinkets.

Excellent find, I have not seen that before. Will this work with any other trinkets or abilities or is it just this one?

I tried this with my Hunter, and his clockwork rocket bot, just a second ago, and got Spirit Tap every time his bot killed mine. We tried this around 6-9 times, every time Spirit tap procced. Too bad that sometimes only my bot attacks, leaving me without spirit tap and Hunter without Bot. :yuck: But anyways, all and all, nice exploit.

Don't be confused by the honorable kill: Spirit Tapper did no action against that target. He has full mana and hes targetting a friendly unit. He was in the plot and he couldn't care less about allys.

Are you sure this works? My bot hasnt fought any other bots and i dont think they still fight, gonna test it.

I smell priest/rogue 2s Opness...

Both of them get clockwork, disc priest puts 5 points into shadow for spirit tap, robots kill each other the entire match=disc priest 100% mana the entire time.

I haven't tested this with a priest yet, but I tested it with a hunter trying to get Rapid Killing to proc, which procs the same way as spirit tap. It did not work.
