[Trick] Armory

A guy in the same class as me in school sayd he had tier 4 and some more epics from karazhan and that he had about 900 spelldamage. And, whatsmore, he said he had quit wow. Since I am on another server I couln't check his gear and didn't have time to make an alt to check his activity.
He use to lie alot so I decided to own him a bit. =)

I searched him up there and checked his gear. Ooops, 300 spelldamage, most greens and 1 AH epic. And about his activity, I could easily tell he haven't quit wow, since the armory only shows active characters, and also shows when the character was last cached.

I gave him the URL and in reply I got a long silence on msn.
Can't wait to see him tomorrow =)

hahha, yeah I did the same thing lol. This kid in my school said he had War karazhan epics but he was on a different sever. So I asked him his name and he gave me a bogus one the first time and so the second time he actually gave it to me and he had all greens and he was lvl 68..

I read on the official forums about this pally who was kicked out of his end game guild, because he lied about his spec.

ya, this is common sense if you know what the armory is at all. And it shows inactive characters, for my banned lvl 70 hunter is still viewable.. /sigh

Havent checked the armory but i can imagine it doesnt show your bag content / bank content which makes it a bit less trustworthy. Also im guessing its as updated as the rest of the "online activity" sites blizzard haves (meaning, at tops once a month).

Interesting to know in this case is if the green gear he had was resistance / stamina gear, cause hell, even ive got those equiped from time to time :P

lol my friend claimed he leveled a shammy to 60 and a pally to 50 in 5 days. I didn't believe him so I asked his pallies name and I looked up on the armory It was a level 54 hunter XD. so he gave me a screenshot of his WSG score and it was back in the old honor system before he started play. I also searched the name on google came up with some guys blog who had hunter. I was like pwned.
