Karazhan ring change free!

Hello guys

If you need to respecc for joining your guilds raid and you don't have a ring for the right specc you just exchange the karazhan ring

I was Shaman and was going to do Black temple with my guild. Im normaly Enhancement but there was only a spell caster spot free for a elemental shaman becourse the other spell casters did need the spell crit and the spell damage totem. i had everything exept a ring and some enchants on my gear. so i was getting the enchants from a freind. but something was missing.


The ring! !


I had the karazhan ring in resto specc in my bank. so a crazy idea was poppin in my head. i wasnt exalted. only revered with karazhan so i couldnt change the ring to Elemental. And i knew my guild wouldnt accept me if i did meet up with a resto in elemental specc

i did made a ticket. The gm was pretty stupid becourse he said normaly you need to be exalted to exchange the ring, but what time did you bought the ring last time? and lucky for me did i complet the quest for about an hour ago where the ring gets upgraded. so i told him it was for about an hour ago.

he said. when you need to change an item you need to be exalted UNLESS its lesser than 24 hours since you choose the ring. so he did gave me the elemental ring/

he didnt even took the resto ring. but he did that later on when i got exalted. (Wasnt the same GM i guess, but he wasnt that stupid as the other one)



This might work with you aswell. It depense on the stupidity of the GM your talking too.

Im exalted with Scale of the sands so when i need to change my ring when im going as elemental i do need to pay anyway. for those who still do karazhan and need to go for another specc. give it a try !

I think you misunderstand. When you get at kara first you must chose a ring of 4 specs (Tank, Dps, Caster, Healer) and after every rep level the ring upgrades so normally you can't switch the ring to another spec until you hit exalted and then you have to pay for it to swap.
His ring just got upgraded an hour ago to revered so he couldn't change it yet. The GM was so dumb to change it for him though.

A friend of mine (warr tank) had chosen healer's ring. He made a ticket about 2 weeks after he did the mistake.
The GM resetted the whole chain quest and he was able to get the right ring.

14 days is maxiumum, to be exact.
