Get replacements for dead people during boss fight

Hey, this is a little exploit we found out in my guild. Basically what this is is that when someone dies you can get a new person into the fight as replacement for the dead person. This is pretty much common sense but still.
You need an alt for this. What you do is to get the alt into the instance at at the place where the boss is, log out with it, log in with your main which is also there. Then you just do the boss battle as normal, and if you die, you can just log out and log into your alt during the battle and continue on with it. As many people as you want can do this in your raid.
As I said it's pretty much common sense but it might still be a nice thing for someone.

Well it's more useful in a raid where you have the alt in the raid group so then you won't get ported out.

This will NOT work.

Raid instances have a limit on the amount of people that can be in them.

When my guild was raiding kara (yea yea we suck) one of our members D/C, we couldnt bring another player in to replace because there was already 10 players in the instances, even though one of them had D/C, and it works the same way for logging out.

Didn't work in KZ. One of our members dropped and when one of our guys mentioned he had an alt in the instance he logged in and got ported to shatt because the offline guy never released

It works because and only because, you have logged out. Although you may no longer have a chance at the loot the boss drops, however can be nice while progressing and learning new fights.
