The GMs aren't the masterminds everyone makes them out to be. They are paid roughly $10.00 / hr, college kids just doing a second job for the most part. Some may play WoW and know these tricks, but I doubt their "training" could prepare the ones who don't play to know every one of these little tricks to get arena points / honor / items.

Lol, still, ALL GM's do check logs. Else the world would be now full of T6 people with warglaives, if you say for example "Hey GM I accidentally deleted my Warglaive, could you please retrieve it for me?" , then the first step that the GM gonna do is checking the logs, he also ask for a verification when you deleted it so he doesn't have to dig up all the logs.

Just like this case, it seems applausible that you can get a t5 token back for merciless, but either you got a lazy dumb ass GM who didn't followed the protocol or it's all bluff. Almost EVERY GM watches the logs, even if you made up a good story they must always check the logs whether or not it happened. Same with retrieving items, if you make a ticket about that you deleted your precious warglaives, then they are forced to check when you deleted it right? Same with this topic.

BTW, this also has a low chance of succes since recent patch. Why? Now, when you want to buy something that requires either honor, tokens or something in that direction, a window pop ups and ask if you REALLY want to buy that. Then if you press "yes" , you actually accepted it and the GM just say "sorry, read better" or something in that direction.

Well we can asks for screenshots but those are easily fakeable and you could've already T5, or maybe you could post a screenshot about the conversation, but doubt that you've done that.

I don't think GM's care too much. I've met some really lazy ones in my "journeys".
They just hand the problem over to another lazy GM which just grab the facts given and do their thing.

Well, unless you run into a dumb Gm, this is likely not going to work.

GMs do not always go by the book. I've d/e'd entire sets several times, sold the mats, and still got full restores. I did it three times in a row for my tier 2 resto set and made 10-12 Nexus Crystals each time. I never had to turn back in the crystals or lose any gold.

Things like this do work from time to time. Some GMs will simply do it for you. The smart ones will escillate your ticket, and then you are screwed trying this.
