Cast Twice

Ok, ive been using quartz for awhile, and as everyone knows, it tells when your cast is "being sent" to the server.

Anyways, this trick ive only tried on a mage and my friends connection (along with mine)

First, choose something to cast at, mob, player, etc.

When your cast is ALMOST to the red, cast an instant, IMMEDIATLY followed by another cast (frostbolt, fire, etc.)

When its halfway casted, hit frostbolt again, and you will charge a second frostbolt, and BOTH will hit at the same time! I can hit a mob twice for 800 at once with this trick!

Ive also done this with blizzard, but while channeling blizzard, wait till just at the end, cast fireblast, then charge frostbolt and cast blizzard at the same time!

I use this in the WPL to farm zombies for easy cash all the time!

As i said, ive been doing this since 2.4 hit, and it still works with 2.4.2, even after they fixed my enchanting low level twink stuff...

Didnt work on my mage.

Casting frostbolt, waiting till its almost done with casting -> icelance -> right after that another frostbolt and then when its halfway casting i press frostbolt another time

Its like that right? anyway, does not work here.

Threads like this require video to have any credibility. IMO it was probably lag more than it was you getitng off 2 casts in less time.

Yeah I don't think it works. I tried it and nothing happens. I agree with Heftydogg its probably the lag and needs a video

It Does work I used to do this on my hunter, but when I stopped, It boosted my DPS. so it's better to not do it.. atleast for hunters.. >_> It was fun for me, gave me a faster shot.

i know you said you tested on your mage, well i tried on my lock with rank 1 SB and siphon life, and doesnt seem to work unless im doing it wrong

cast SB, right before red line cast intsant(SL), then cast SB in middle of that cast cast another SB. right?

It's just client side lag. Often happened to me. Because you do the instant so fast and star casting again, somehow the client loses the damage from the frostbolt in the air and doesn't display it. So when your next one lands, it says two land. But the damage had already been done. I used to do it because it was funny to see two huge numbers pop up at the same time, but it wouldn't actually be any different.

Have retested this, it is JUST as your bar reaches the red!

Timing is key here.

I know its hard to believe with no video or pics or a high rep or whatever, but alot of people have confirmed this on my ventrilo server, and more have seen me do it.

Valain: I know its not client side lag, because when i said i used my friends connection, we were "testing" it out on each other while honor farming each others characters.

For people who try to say its connection lag, we have done this on multiple connections, including the local library's wi-fi, our city wi-fi, across state while visiting my parents, and he was at his mothers. Even while on a private server, located on the same LAN!
