Not that I know of. Like one of the other posters said, they use the PTR logs, so next time they refresh that and notice the account is banned, he likely won't be able to login like he can now.

Plus, not much to exploit if you can only get to the login screen =/

Do the PTRs and Normals even share their bans? I believe u can get banned from PTR without getting banned for normal, don't know if its reverse too

I had this when I got into the burning crusade alpha. I got banned shortly after on official realms, but could still play the alpha/beta for about a month until the account re-synced and it said i was banned on both afterwards.

Eventually it will not let you login to the alpha realmlist, whenever it is they sync their accounts back up.


Same goes for password changes. if you change your normal password, it uses the old one on the test realms for a while.
