Hi, Mmowned. I sorta copied Treyska's idea here to start to put both current and new exploits in one area. This way, we can make our fourms less crowded and have things easier to get to. I'm hoping that in the future, anyone that has any ideas, suggestions, pictures, or old exploits will post them here in this thread instead of making a new one. Then I can add it in with credit to you and give you rep.
Zul'farrak
Located in Tanaris : Level 44-49
BOSSES ;
Antu'sul - Summons 10 level 40 basilisks that cannot be hit by AoE. Uses earthgrab, fire, and healing totems. Immune to CC. Level 48 elite humanoid.
Standing up on this rock causes the basilisks to bug out and evade. Have everyone up here but the tank holding the boss far enough for melee/hunters to shoot. DO NOT PULL AGGRO. As soon as this boss is dead, have the tank jump up on the rock with you and in a matter of seconds all basilisks will dissapear.
Sorry this is such a horrible picture. If anyone can get a better one, feel free to post it. This is more on what not to do. As you can see -
1. The tank is tanking it really close.
2. I pulled aggro.
3. I am not all the way on the rock, and so the basilisks could still attack me.
4. The totems were not killed.
Witch Doctor Zum'rah - Not immune to CC. Heals, summons zombies from graves. Doesn't attack you until you attack him.
Theres a rumon that if you open the firest few graves next to the boss, you don't have to fight the zombies during the fight. *UNTESTED*
It is a known fact that if if you clear all the graves, no zombies come out.
Sergeant Bly - And Raven, Murta Grimgut, and Oro Eyegouge.
/pvp yourself so that the NPCs will heal you.
When starting this fight, many groups have trouble with it because of one thing. They try to hard. As with all NPCs, when out of combat they regain their full health and mana in a matter of seconds. Do not do anything but light DPS until the elites start coming. Wanding if you're a caster, no AoE, and keep your health and mana at 90 to 80%. Do not get ahead of them, let them pull and let them aggro. If you see any of them get low, then start to help.
Heres an example on what not to do. The NPCs can chain aggro very easily, and on more then one occasion I have had groups that had pulled the entire bottom section. Just stand back and relax.
Um, yeah. At this time something happened to my files - when I try to make them smaller in paint they come out funny, and I can't save them as anything other then bmp. If you happen to get an idiot group and you're about to die, jump back behind here behind the cages and the mobs should deaggro from you or evade out.
If you wait a few minutes, everyone will despawn but Sergeant Bly
*NOTE* If you wait too long, ALL the NPCs will despawn.. Including Bly.
After you send the Goblin to blow up the gates, if you don't need Bly for the rod follow him. He'll help you kill mobs for awhile.
*NOTE* Hes a fast puller >>
